Generated indicates Dashlane generated a password, but you didn't save it in the app. Generated for site indicates Dashlane generated a password for a specific site, and you saved it in the app. Even if you didn't save the generated password to a login, Dashlane keeps a log of the password. Select Show history to find passwords that you've changed in Dashlane. To generate a new password, select the circling arrows icon next to the current password.You can also choose not to include characters that resemble each other, such as "1" and "l." Choose the length of the password and whether the password contains letters, numbers, or symbols.You can generate a new strong, randomly-generated password.
